After seeing the many reviews of the new 36, 42 and 50 meg pixel cameras recently, and lately taking weekly trips to the Shiawassee NWR to shoot birds I am beginning realize I really don’t need any other new improved equipment than what I currently have. I use a Canon 5DIII with a older 500mm lens with a 1.4x III extender plus hand hold for 90% of my images as a tripod is too slow in the wild for many birds. Results make me happy so poo poo on new high rez cameras. Unless one is given to me of course. Allot of my shots are really cropped in to fill the frame and the resolution is great to me. Think my equipment fetish is over. Just saying.
