These photos are from Wolf Park located in Indiana. Having made three visits there I can say that I am hooked. The weather seems to be so variable but I must say that being in the compound with the wolf pack actually takes your mind off the weather as they are so intriguing and amazing animals not to mention eager to pose for treats and give wolfie kisses if you are lucky. I look forward to more return trips as I find wolves to be one of the most misunderstood and beautiful creatures there are. If there is any interest in wolves or photographing wild animals then going to Wolf Park is a must on your list of places to go and/or photograph.
I use a Canon 70-200mm zoom lens which seems to be about right for me. I notice that Monty the resident photographer uses a 28-300mm lens which would be perfect. Something for my wish list. Monty Sloan pictured below has thousands of awesome wolf photos in his portfolio and has been photographing at Wolf Park for over twenty years. His knowledge of the wolves and his ability to make them pose for you make for such an enjoyable and awesome visit.

I cannot express the feeling of being in touch with nature especially being face to face with a 90 lb wolf.
